SCIENCE ICONS

As a gift to my mentor, I wanted to create a print that depicted scientific research. My goal was create sixteen icons for a 4×4 grid print.

I was inspired by mobile application icons for the shape design and decided to use the Android colour swatch (2012) as my palette, in addition to black, white and grey. 

Depending on the complexity of the icon, complementary, harmonious or high contrast (e.g. purple and white) colour combinations were used.
